Open NotePad 2. Paste these two lines in Notepad: net stop "Windows SharePoint Services Timer" net start "Windows SharePoint Services Timer" 3. Save this as RestartOWSTimer.bat 4. Schedule this file to run every 15 minutes (adjust time as necessary) using Scheduled Tasks Note: You can also configure the Recovery property of Windows SharePoint Services Timer SERVICE to run this BAT file. 1. Open NotePad
2. Paste these two lines in Notepad:

net stop “Windows SharePoint Services Timer”
net start “Windows SharePoint Services Timer”

3. Save this as RestartOWSTimer.bat
4. Schedule this file to run every 15 minutes (adjust time as necessary) using Scheduled Tasks
