SharePoint 2010 Ribbon: Hide Button from Discussion Forum New Item Window

Scenario:

We need to hide “Save / Cancel / Paste / Cut / Copy / Attach File” buttons from discussion forum “New Item” window:

      Please create an empty SharePoint project using Visual Studio 2010 and then add an “Empty Element”. Please copy & paste XML in the empty element file.

  2. Great post: Does this apply to the entire collection or can you limit the scope of this to only apply to a single list / lib?

      Thanks. This will work for site collection. You can limit it on a specific list type.
